The Minor in Early Years Education is designed to equip students with an understanding of socio-cultural, historical and political forces that influence early childhood development from both local and global perspectives.

Career / Study Progression

Offers opportunities for students who wish to pursue a career in early childhood settings such as playgroups, publication companies, after-school activities centres etc.

Equips students for postgraduate study in the field of education, psychology, and special education.

Students interested in further study after graduation may be able to continue the Master’s programmes in the field of education, psychology and special education, such as the Master of Education (Area of Focus in Early Childhood Education), the Master of Social Sciences in Psychology (Schools and Community Settings), the Master of Arts in Educational Counselling, as well as the Master of Science in Educational Speech-Language Pathology and Learning Disabilities offered by EdUHK.
