Advanced Studies III – School-based SLP, Craniofacial Anomalies and AAC

Participants will learn advanced issues in education and speech, language, hearing, literacy, learning communication and swallowing disorders. Topics will include the following:

• Advanced teaching pedagogy studies and school-based speech-language pathology service;
• Augmentative and alternative communication;
• Advanced instrumentation for the assessment and intervention of communication disorders;
• Speech problems secondary to oro-cranial-facial disorders and management issues;
• The assessment, differential diagnosis, and intervention of pediatric swallowing disorders.
