SEC’s Dr Jesus Alfonso D. Datu has been awarded the APS Rising Star Award from the Association for Psychological Science (APS).
Dr Datu’s research focuses on positive psychology, positive education, and inclusive education.
“I feel honoured and delighted to have received this international award. It recognises the impacts and future potential of my scholarly programme in applying well-being theories as well as scientific findings in school, higher education, and community contexts. This award wouldn’t be possible without the meaningful support of the SEC leadership team, mentors, collaborators, FEHD, and our university,” said Dr Datu.
The APS Rising Star Award is presented to outstanding APS members in the earliest stages of their research careers.
