As a traditional folk art form in Guangdong and Guangxi Provinces, Hong Kong, and Macau, Cantonese opera has been highly welcomed by the Cantonese community.  The Aria Type (including Bangzi Qiang and Erhuang Qiang) of Cantonese opera is the most representative musical genre reflecting the nature of matching between linguistic tones and melodic tones.  This book aims to provide a reference of Aria Type for learners and instructors.
