Module Code 單元編號 TLS6087 Module Title 單元名稱 SERVICE-LEARNING FOR WHOLE PERSON DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS 服務學習以促進兒童和青少年全人發展 Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course will provide participants with theoretical and practical knowledge about how to design effective service-learning projects/activities for children and adolescents at various educational settings. Participants will gain knowledge about service-learning models, essential elements in the design of high-quality service-learning, how to facilitate students’ reflection, assessment for student learning in service-learning, etc. Participants will gain a holistic understanding of service-learning practice and develop their professional capacity in the design and delivery of service-learning with reference to different educational settings in Hong Kong. Direct experience of designing and delivering a service-learning project will be a part of the course experience.
