Module Code 單元編號 TLS6065 Module Title 單元名稱 ASSESSMENT FOR LEARNING: THEORY INTO PRACTICE Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course exposes students to local and international trends of assessment reforms with particular attention to promoting assessment for learning (i.e., effective deployment of assessment to support student learning) in the school context. Students will be guided to examine basic concepts, principles, and approaches that are related to assessment for learning, especially how assessment strategies can be designed and implemented to improve learning and teaching and ensure quality of assessment. Participants will also be required to critically evaluate assessment policies and practices and make feasible recommendations by drawing on relevant theories and research literature. In this manner, the course will afford a solid foundation for students to engage with cutting-edge theories and assessment innovations to support student learning.
