This course introduces Psychology theories/principles to foster the participant’s teaching and learning sensitivity, knowledge, and skills needed for motivating the class. This includes identifying and responding to disruptive and off-task behaviours, as well as creating positive learning environments that encourage social interaction and active engagement in various educational settings ranging from Applied Learning (ApL) to Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET). Participants are required to review specific theories relevant to their teaching field and devise unique approaches to enhance class engagement and participation. |
