It also examines the major challenges relevant to various aspects of development. The course is designed to provide participants with theories and practices from an interdisciplinary approach based on developmental psychology, educational psychology and inclusive system in developing the awareness of the importance of all-round development of the whole person, empathetic understanding of those they teach, and basic knowledge to cope with developmental challenges and special needs. It includes an overview of contemporary theories, concepts and research on human development, developmental challenges in students, and children with special needs.
