Module Code 單元編號 PSY3084 Module Title 單元名稱 ENHANCING PARTICIPATION AND ENGAGEMENT IN LEARNING Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course aims to equip PVE practitioners with the foundational knowledge and skills, both theoretical and practical, needed to enhance the sensitivity and teaching efficacy of learners in various educational settings ranging from Applied Learning to adult vocational learners. Participants are expected to acquire competencies to identify and understand different learners’ needs from theories that examine learners’ personalities and socio-emotional development. To foster learners’ self-motivation and engagement in learning, topics to be covered in this course include creating positive learning environments, responding to disruptive and off-task behaviors, encouraging collaboration between learners, and enhancing active engagement and autonomy.
