This course focuses on equipping students’ cross-cultural sensitivity and awareness of competencies for effective cross-cultural management practices to uplift organizational effectiveness and competitive advantages in a changing and complicated global environment under the fourth industrial revolution. Different cross-cultural management practices of various types, size and scope of local, regional and multinational organizations will be examined. Factors of how cultural beliefs, values, identity, as well as cross-cultural communication skills and decision-making affect organizational behaviours, learning and development will be addressed. Students will be guided to develop effective cross-cultural management strategies in the workplace through engaging in a range of learning experiences. |
