Module Code 單元編號 ECE5247 Module Title 單元名稱 UNDERSTANDING, TEACHING AND SUPPORTING CHILDREN WITH DIVERSE NEEDS Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course provides students with an overview of children with diverse needs in particular SEN and NCS children and promotes students’ understanding of the importance of early intervention. Students will be able to know the characteristics and needs, and the role of early childhood practitioners in identification, assessing and educating children with diverse needs in various early childhood settings in collaboration with families and multiprofessional teams. The Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide prepared by the Education Bureau will also be introduced in this course.
