This course explains how young children construct scientific thinking through inquiry process of questioning, exploration, and experience with daily living environment. Using constructivist learning theories as framework, the course introduces the nature of young children’s science learning, discusses strategies to promote young children’s scientific thinking and problem solving, fostering them to be capable for scientific inquiry, and have fun with science.
