Module Code 單元編號 ECE2116 Module Title 單元名稱 CHILDREN'S CONCEPTUAL CHANGE Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course adopts an in-depth approach to introduce and discuss children’s conceptual change in various domains, including naive theory of psychology, physics, biology, and metaphysics, focusing on 3- to 5-years of age in early childhood education settings. Students will survey current literature on children’s naive theories and discuss ways to confront children’s preconceived conceptions and misconceptions in particular. They will also implement and evaluate a conceptual change teaching event in an early childhood classroom.
