Participants will learn the nature and importance of play; the advantage of play and methods to promote young children’s learning in the pre-school settings. This course also focuses on the importance various forms of play have on the learning of the whole child according to the cultural background of both the local and non-Chinese speaking children, with emphasis on teacher’s role and responsibilities in supporting children learning.
