The Minor in Curriculum Studies is designed to equip students with the professional knowledge, skills and attitude required to contribute to the success of the 21th century global education reform and development in the Hong Kong school context. With an emphasis on theory-informed practice, students will critically apply, analyze and evaluate different theories in the area of curriculum studies, which includes curriculum theories, pedagogical and assessment development, for the provision of quality school education.

Upon successful completion the CS Minor, students will be able to:
PILO1 | Demonstrate an understanding of the basic components, concepts and current trends of creative teaching and learning; |
PILO2 | Comprehend contemporary theories of teaching innovation; |
PILO3 | Investigate tools, strategies and examples of creative teaching and learning from both local and overseas sources; |
PILO4 | Analyze creative teaching adopted to a local context and develop the necessary skills in applying such creations in their own instructional settings; |
PILO5 | Experiment with creative practices to build up effective teaching competence in the classroom context. |
