A workshop on "Note-taking Strategies" conducted by Miss Leung Kit Yan for teachers of the Northern Lamma School was held on 30 September 2024. During the two-hour workshop, teachers were able to experience firsthand how to learn note-taking skills step by step as students. The workshop covered the purpose and benefits of note-taking, common note-taking formats, shorthand techniques, visual note-taking, and important considerations when writing notes. In addition, teachers were divided into subject groups and tasked with designing how to teach students note-taking skills alongside cognitive teaching in a specific topic.
