Study Trip to Taiwan on Civic and Human Rights Education

Objectives:
The trip to Taiwan is intended to be an opportunity for participants to bring to life the theory and practice of human rights education with exposures made to strategies, methods and experiences of conducting HRE. It provide an opportunity for educators to learn techniques in the context of practical application, to share resources and teaching materials.
Programmes:
The visit will include:
Visit to Soochow University and Taipei Municipal University of Education University on HR and HRE programmes.
Visit to primary and secondary schools to meet with students, teachers and school principals around the Taipei and Hualien where research and pilot HRE programmes were conducted.
Visit to Education Bureau on national HRE policy.
