  MUsic Skills Enhancement Scheme (MUSES)

  Presented by the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts since September 2011, the MUsic Skills Enhancement Scheme (MUSES) aims to empower student learning through active participation and experience in music-making. Under the scheme, student are required to take part in varied activities such as MUSES Lunchtime Concert Series, Performance Groups, Campus Concert, Chamber Alive Schools / Communities Outreach Project, MUSES Chamber Award, Canopy Live and Performance Studies.

  Community Engagement & Outreach Academy of Creative Arts (CEO)

  As part of the outreach unit of the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts, CEO Academy offers various kinds of musical and creative arts courses for anyone to learn and particpiate in music and art-making. Our professionally trained tutors are passionate about providing quality teaching for students, which allows them to develop their creative potentials and cultivate postive values from music and art-making. 

   

  We hope that CEO can be the cornerstone for creative arts outreach, one that can widespread the value of arts in every corner of the community and bring the joyfulness of music and art-making to everyone.

  Visual Arts Education and Community Development Project (VAECD)

  The VAECD project aims to contribute to the society through arts. This is done by facilitating Visual Arts staff and students to diversify and transfer their subject knowledge and skills to develop arts education and community programs as well as professional research. Through these activities, the value of university education is thus enhanced.
