28 The Education University of Hong Kong Annual Report 2019-2020 Research and Knowledge Transfer: Continued Growth of Research Capacity 年內，教大學者獲得兩項專利。梁智軒博士的 創新方格樂譜 不 但降低了大眾閱讀樂譜的門檻，亦為音樂演奏及創作提供無限 可能性；其創新個性化線上學習與職業雙向推薦方法及系統， 獲得專利保護。知識轉移辦公室並已就松信浩二博士的發明， 申請日本及國際專利合作條約。該 創新吹嘴 可用於笛等管狀樂 器，配備輔助風道。 Two patents were granted to the University during the year. The Grid , a music notation software program which lowers the barrier for music score reading and provides unlimited possibilities for music performance and composition, was created by Dr Michael Leung Chi-hin. A personalised online learning and professional two-way referral method and system was also granted protection. In addition, the Knowledge Transfer Sub- office has filed for a utility model patent in Japan and a PCT patent for Dr Koji Matsunobu, for an innovative mouthpiece to make pitch bending possible for musical instruments like recorders and flutes.  Drs Leung and Matsunobu won Bronze Medals for innovations in technology for music education at the 71 st International Trade Fair ‘Ideas – Inventions – New Products’(iENA) in Nuremberg (Germany) 梁智軒博士及松信浩二博士雙雙 於第七十一屆 iENA 德國紐倫堡國 際發明展獲得銅獎 Innovating howwe learn 創新學習方式
