EdUHK Annual Report 2018-2019

According to the 2018 Graduate Employment Survey, 99 per cent of the graduates of the Bachelor of Education programmes of EdUHK were employed or had chosen to further their studies within three months of graduation. Their average monthly salary reached a record high of HK$26,971 , equivalent to a year-on-year increase of 7.1 per cent. 根據二零一八年就業調查結果，教大教育 學士學位課程畢業生，百分之九十九於畢 業後三個月內，受聘或繼續升學。最新統 計數字顯示，他們的 平均月薪為歷年新高 ， 達二萬六千九百七十一港元 ，按年增長百分 之七點一。 卓越教學 二零一八年九月，文學及文化學系副系主任及助理教 授姜鍾赫博士，榮獲教資會新晉教學人員傑出教學 獎。姜博士生於南韓，卻熱愛中國歷史。為激勵學生 學習，他自創一套以學生為本、充滿新意，以四個英 文Re-為首的「4-re」歷史教學法。該四個「Re」分別 為重建、重讀、反思與研究。 Teaching excellence In September 2018, Dr David Kang Jong-hyuk, Associate Head and Assistant Professor at the Department of Literature and Cultural Studies, received the UGC Teaching Award under the category of Early Career Faculty Members. A Korea-born academic, Dr Kang shares his passion for Chinese history with his students by adopting a learner-centred approach and employing innovative teaching methods such as the “4-‘re’” (reconstruct, reread, reflect and research) history teaching method he developed.
