Abstract

The Primary Science Education Newsletter, entitled "Investigation", is one of the outcomes of the project - Building links between HKIEd and the primary sector in the delivery of quality science education, undertaken by the Department of Science of HKIEd. The project is sponsored by the University Grants Committee to promote science education through developing interface between the tertiary and the primary sector. The newsletter aims to promote investigative activities as a means to enhance primary science teaching and learning. It covers background information about scientific investigation, news about school scientific investigative activities, updates on science education resources, as well as teachers' experiences in conducting investigative activities.
