Assignments & Graduation Requirements

Assignments & Grading
 
Participants are required to submit a reflection paper that describes how the theories and/or practices they learnt can be applied to their school context upon the completion of each PFP module (seven calendar weeks after the debriefing of the concerned module).

Participants are also required to submit an action research report words 2-months after completing the PFP programme.

 
Graudation Requirements
 
NA
(a) Completion of all Pre-Analysis tasks.
(b) Participants are required to participate in all activities on the Analysis Day.
(c) Participants will work with their assessors and fellow programme participants to write a practical leadership development plan.
(d) Certificates with indication of the completion date will be issued to those who participate in all activities on the Analysis Day and have successfully completed the Working Booklet.
 
PFP Course
(a) Participants are required to attend at least 90% of the 75 hours devoted to the core areas of the course. A make-up paper may be completed to remedy an absence.#

(b) Participants must get a passing grade in each of the six Core Modules AND the Action Research project.

(c) Certificates with indication of both the commencement and completion dates will be issued to those who have successfully completed the PFP Course, by meeting the attendance requirement and obtaining a passing grade in each of the assignments and the Action Research project.

(d) A statement indicating both the commencement and completion dates of the specific course will be issued to each participant. The certificate will report the grade for each assignment and the action research project.

(e) A letter of certification will be issued to aspiring principals retaking the course upon completion of course requirements.
 
 
# Make-Up Paper
(i) Participants are required to attend at least 90% of the 75 hours devoted to the core areas of the course. Participants can only be absent for a maximum of two sessions. Participants will be notified once they have reached the ceiling of two sessions of absence
.
(ii) Not more than 10% of attendance can be compensated by make-up papers. A make-up paper will only be accepted for absence due to urgent matters. Participants are required to seek prior approval for absence from the course coordinator in writing.

(iii) The make-up paper (1,500 words, excluding references and appendices) would be due within 2-weeks after the absent session.

(iv) Participants are required to draw upon the materials taught in the session. The make-up paper should cover the main issues or concerns in the session, and why are they important.
