New APCLC Associate Director Appointed

The APCLC is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Chen Junjun to the position of Associate Director of APCLC.

Dr Chen Junjun is an Associate Professor at the Department of Education Policy and Leadership. Dr. Chen studied in Mainland China, Holland and New Zealand. Before joining the EdUHK, she worked at universities in Mainland China and New Zealand. Her research has focused on principal and teacher development, well-being and resilience, systematic literature review, psychometric measurement, and how these have contributed to school effectiveness. She has been the principal investigator of four GRF projects of the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong for the past 48 months and has had a celebrated research and academic career. She is willing to enlarge her research interest to advance the work of the APCLC by cooperating with colleagues. This opportunity to work at APCLC has made her feel very privileged indeed.

Dr Chen will bring her skills and experience to APCLC, working alongside Director Dr Qian Haiyan and Co-Director Professor Allan Walker, our global-wide senior management team, research network and the Hong Kong based secretariat in advancing our collective vision of creating and transforming knowledge for the development of leadership for learning and change in the Greater Bay Area and Asia Pacific region.

Dr Chen Junjun will commence her new position as Associate Director on 2 February 2024.
