Congregation 2023
School Educators from Schools Across Asia and from a Wide Range of Culture from the IELC

On 2 December 2023, we celebrated the graduation of passionate educational leaders from the Executive Master of Arts in International Educational Leadership and Change (IELC) at the Congregation of the Education University of Hong Kong.

The graduates have all demonstrated outstanding work throughout the programme and a commitment to applying leadership to drive school improvement. They are each exceptional leaders in schools across Asia and come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, including India, the United States, and South Korea, reflecting the international nature of the programme.

The IELC is a part-time, modular, and online postgraduate programme for aspiring and practising educational leaders. It is designed to develop leaders with the capacity to operate successfully and lead educational change in an international leadership environment, particularly in the Asian context. It features innovative pedagogies that enable participants to exchange ideas and develop international perspectives alongside full-time professional commitments in schools.

The IELC collaborates with the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIS). By completing the IELC, participants are eligible to attain the following leadership qualifications alongside the Executive Master of Arts degree: IB Certificate in Leadership Practice, IB Advanced Certificate in Leadership Research, and Cambridge International Diploma in Educational Leadership.
