About the Seminar: In this talk Dr Qian examines some widely adopted teacher learning and leadership practices in Chinese schools and delineate some lessons that can be drawn from teacher learning in China. These practices will be juxtaposed with the prevalent international theories that mainly derive from the Western societies. The juxtaposition shows the co-existence and potential reciprocity of Chinese teacher learning practices and Western theories and ideal types. |
