New APCLC Co Director Appointed The APCLC is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Qian Haiyan to the position of Co-Director of APCLC. Dr Qian Haiyan is currently an Associate Professor in Department of Education Policy and Leadership at The Education University of Hong Kong. She has been the principal investigator of ECS and GRF projects of Research Grants Council of Hong Kong for the past 36 months and has had a celebrated research and academic career, working in Chinese community, with specific focus on school leadership in China and the influence of the social and cultural context on school process across Chinese societies. Dr Qian will bring her skills and experience to APCLC, working alongside Director Professor Allan Walker, our global-wide senior management team, research network and the Hong Kong based secretariat in advancing our collective vision of creating and transforming knowledge for the development of leadership for learning and change in the Asia Pacific region. Dr Qian Haiyan will commence her new position as Co-Director on 1 March 2018. |
