Expert Discussion @ International Seminar on Classroom Observation Dr James Ko (APCLC Research Fellow and EdUHK Assistant Professor) was invited as EdUHK expert discussant to The International Seminar of Classroom Observation was held by the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills (Ofsted) of the Government of the United Kingdom on November 6-7, 2017 in London. The Seminar brought together experts to share their experience and knowledge, with a view to later developing a valid protocol based on the best evidence and theoretical models available internationally. This seminar came at a key moment when the Ofsted was critically evaluating a number of dimensions of inspection, and some of the fundamental principles guiding inspection practice to date. |
