Scholarship for Teachers (Pursuit of Master's Degree Programmes) NEW
The Education Bureau has launched the “Scholarship for Teachers (Pursuit of Master's Degree Programmes)” for the 2017/18 academic year. Full-time serving teachers in local schools who will apply for this MEd programme (Area of Focus: Mathematics, Technology, Science and Environment) in the following school year are eligible for the scholarship. For details of application requirements and procedures, please refer to http://www.edb.gov.hk/scholarship_teacher.
This area of focus aims to provide opportunities for professional enhancement in the areas of mathematics education, science education and technology-enhanced education. It seeks to engage participants in reflecting on and evaluating contemporary theories and practices in these three areas so as to enable participants to become reflective professionals in these fields.

This area of focus aims to provide opportunities for professional enhancement in the areas of mathematics education, science education and technology-enhanced education. It seeks to engage participants in reflecting on and evaluating contemporary theories and practices in these three areas so as to enable participants to become reflective professionals in these fields.

- Focus on the study of the development of mathematics thinking through analysis of recent theories and research findings to enhance professional knowledge and pedagogy for mathematics education.
- Empower participants with updated knowledge of the trends of science curriculum development and evidence-based pedagogical approaches for science learning.
- Broaden students’ understanding of the use of information technology for research and educational innovations.
