Invited Roundtable Discussion and Paper Presentation at the International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement (ICSEI) 2016 Prof. Allan Walker (Joseph Lau Chair Professor of International Educational Leadership, Director of APCLC and Dean of FEHD) was invited to the expert Roundtable discussion of “Leadership School and System Improvement: East and West” at the International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement (ICSEI) 2016 in Glasgow, Scotland on 6-9 January 2016. Other experts at the Roundtable include: Prof. Alma Harris, Prof. Clive Dimmock, Prof. Carol Campbell, Prof. Daniel Muijs, Prof. Dennis Shirley, Dr Michelle Jones, Prof. Sam Stringfield, Prof. Suwarsih Madya. During the Congress, Prof. Walker and his research teammate Dr James Ko (APCLC Research Fellow and Assistant Professor at Department of Education Policy and Leadership) also gave a paper presentation. Their paper presentation topic is “Principal Efficacy and Strategic Direction Mediating between Values and School Improvement”.
